Harvest of pumpkins & apples at The Sharpham Trust mindfulness & meditation centre

We’re delighting in Nature’s Autumnal abundance, as our garden and orchards give up their delights.

Our pumpkin and squash harvest has been very healthy - and fun too! Especially the Tromboncino squash, named after trombones (check out Head Gardener Bryony in the Gallery below with her new band…).

By the way, we grow about 30% of the food & drink we serve here.

Here’s a speedy view of making apple juice from our organic orchards at The Sharpham Trust.

Apples had been picked previously by our volunteers and were delivered up to go through a process of scratting (like mashing), pressing and bottling.

Now people who stay on retreat with us throughout the year will be supping this delicious juice for their breakfast - connecting to Sharpham’s nature through their tastebuds!
