Heidi's helping us to recycle more

Sharpham is shifting away from single use plastics where possible - and it's Heidi's job to help us.

She's our new Recycling Champion, responsible for making sure we recycle and reuse wherever we can.

Heidi is an assistant housekeeper, with special sustainability duties too.

Her latest task was removing the milk cartons in each room at Sharpham House. Retreat participants will be using ceramic jugs with their drinks from now on.

Said Heidi: "It's better for the environment and for people who stay here. They can now choose which type of milk they have: soy, rice milk, almond milk..."
