Volunteers at The Sharpham Trust build a new pergola

Our volunteers have helped our Wisteria blossom!

Our lovely lilac-coloured creeper can flourish thanks to support from a new pergola - built by our team of Conservation Volunteers.

Every Thursday, the volunteers meet and carry out tasks across The Sharpham Estate, to help the Trust conserve its parkland.

This time they constructed a sturdy wooden pergola in the Formal Gardens above Sharpham House.

These gardens were originally laid out by famed garden designer Percy Cane and they are Grade II* listed. Find out more about them here
